Adastra
Fusion Projects with our industrial planning experts Streamline Facility Planning took on the challenge for Adastra Labs to build a state of the art Cannabis extraction facility in Langley. This facility was approx. 15,000 sqft and included a complete overhaul of the building’s interior and exterior.
The Fusion team collaborated early days with the consultants including civil, landscape, structural, mechanical and electrical to name a few. We provided pre-assessment and due diligence services for the facility to ensure proactive steps were taken with respect to overall planning. Additionally, this required for our team to navigate through a development permit with the Township of Langley obtaining approval from council for the planned location.
The project management team worked collaboratively with Adastra Labs’s team of experts and scientists to ensure the strict Health Canada, security and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements were adhered to. The space consists of non-porous epoxy floors, FRP walls and medical grades ceilings and ancillary surfaces. Their facility is monitored by a sophisticated intrusion alarm system along with HVAC distribution complete with temperature, pressure and humidity sensors.
Consistent and clear communication was the basis of success for this project. Adastra Labs shortly after completion of this project received its full licensing from Health Canada for production.
The Fusion team is extremely proud for our involvement in this project.
