Fusion Projects Head Office
In our 8th year, Fusion’s growth and success facilitated a move to our new premises in the historic, century-old, Credit Foncier building. Fusion was able to secure the entire eighth floor and worked out a program with the landlord to take advantage of the overall mechanical upgrades in the building allowing for a complete demolition right back to the concrete floors and ceilings. To bring out the character and features of the original concrete structure, we utilized dry ice blasting to clean the hundred-year old concrete without damaging the original grain from the wooden forms.
The design inspiration came from SSDG which, combined with our own vision, allowed us to transform this shell into the truly unique space that we enjoy today. A variety of modular wall systems, several ceiling system types combined with the new ASHRAE-standard LED lights and light sensors really showcase a variety of options for our clients to consider.
It also provides a great work environment for our own team. We deliberately kept the prime space at the front of the building open to allow everyone to enjoy the spectacular views of the North Shore mountains and the cruise ship terminal. The kitchen space, which features original hundred-year-old wood flooring, sits in the front corner and shares these views.
Fusion’s new home is an amazing place to work as well as to entertain both clients and friends in the many functions we hold in our flexible open space.
